Siena College - Stack Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
515 Loudon Road, Siena Hall, Suite 219, Loudonville, NY 12211
Siena’s Stack Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship engages students through high impact learning practices designed to develop critical thinking, innovation and entrepreneurial skills. Our process of “Innovate-Create-Accelerate” allows students to apply these skills to develop and implement successful business ventures. Through the Stack Center students learn to:
Construct a sustainable business model
Conduct customer discovery and identify market segments
Create go-to market and business plans
Create and obtain financing
Establish their legal entity
Hire and lead employees
In short, students receive a lifetime's worth of business and entrepreneurship training in a fast-paced, accelerated experience. The Stack Center is designed as an interdisciplinary program that engages more than 200 students annually across all three schools: liberal arts, science and business.
The Center also seeks to highlight and engage entrepreneurial-minded alumni who have successfully launched their own businesses to inspire the Stack Center's current students. To that end, we are accepting nominations for the Maddalone Wall of Success (Siena graduates who have founded their own business) and Entrepreneur of the Year award. To nominate, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
